Air India's summer schedule has a
pleasant surprise for passengers
traveling to Ahmedabad. The airline
is offering a nonstop onward
connection from Frankfurt to
Ahmedabad.
Jude Crasto, Air India Midwest
manager, said the daily nonstop
operation between Frankfurt and
Ahmedabad would be available to
passengers from all major U.S.cities. For Chicago and New Jersey
passengers, the new operation will
be very convenient as it will connect
to Ahmedabad passengers
within shortest transit time at
Frankfurt, he said.
The new operation begins June
1, with a Boeing 747-400 flight.
Flight AI120 will leave Frankfurt at
11:10 a.m. and is expected to reach
Ahmedabad at 10:25 p.m. the
same day. This flight will have a
daily connection for Chicago passengers
leaving from O'Hare on
flight AI126. At 4 p.m. From
Newark, passengers have the daily
AI144 that departs at 6:30 p.m. to
connect to the onward flight from
Frankfurt.
In the return direction, AI121
will depart Ahmedabad at 2:05
a.m. and reach Frankfurt at 6:50
a.m. From here, passengers can
take the connecting flight AI127
that leaves Frankfurt at 8:50 a.m.and arrives at O'Hare international
Airport at 10:50 a.m. Newark passengers
can transfer to AI191 in
Frankfurt and will arrive in
Newark at 10:25 a.m.With this addition, Air India will
have daily nonstop services
between Frankfurt and Mumbai,
Delhi and Ahmedabad. The Delhi
flight offers an immediate daily
connection to Hyderabad while
the Mumbai flight has daily connections
to Bangalore, Chennai,
Kochi as well as Hyderabad.
