Tennis ace Mahesh Bhupathi and Bollywood actress Lara Duttawere married in a civil ceremony in Mumbai on Feb. 16.

The two got engaged in September in New York, and legalizedtheir marriage at Bhupathi’s residence in Bandra, Mumbai.

The private affair was attended by close family and friends,but the couple organized a function in Goa for over 200 guests, news reportssaid.  Their sangeet ceremony was heldFeb. 18 at Club Fresh, a beach resort in Candolim beach, Goa. According to IndoAsian News Service, it was a white-themed event with the venue decorated inwhite roses and jasmine.

This function was to be followed by a Christian-stylewedding Feb. 19 at Sunset Venue at the Taj Aguada hotel.

Bhupathi was earlier married to model Shvetha Jaishankar.Dutta was reportedly in a relationship with model-actor Kelly Dorji for a longtime. After breaking up with Dorji, she was linked to actor Dino Morea.
