'Delhi-6' is first Indian film launched on iTunes
UTV's "Delhi-6," coproduced and directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and starring Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor, has been launched on iTunes.
It's the first Indian film to be made available on the iTunes store, the Indo Asian News Service reported.
The film is featured on the store's "New and Noteworthy" film section and is available for download-to-own for $9.99. "Launching `Delhi-6,' the complete film, on iTunes was a perfect fit as not only does the film appeal to all alike, but is another step in UTV's endeavor to set trends," the report quoted Lokesh Dhar, vice president of UTV Motion Pictures, USA, as saying.
