Data show rise in number of illegal immigrants from India
Ilegal immigration from India has risen over the last decade according to the Department of Homeland Security. However, very few of these illegal immigrants have been apprehended and even fewer convicted on criminal grounds.
According to data provided by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), India was among the top 10 countries sending "unauthorized immigrants," as the agency calls them.

Rajeev Motwani: Don of the technology age
Rajeev Motwani, a leading computer scientist and Stanford University professor who developed new ways to search enormous databases and mentored the founders of Google, has died. He was 47.
Motwani apparently drowned in the pool at his Atherton, Calif., home, where his body was found June 5, the university announced. Friends said he did not know how to swim.
Atherton police are waiting for results of an autopsy before investigating what appears to be an accidental death, a police spokesman said June 9.
